SAP Sales Data Migration Lead
Background
As part of a global SAP S/4HANA rollout, Siemens Energy is harmonizing Sales (Order-to-Cash) processes across all entities. A key success factor is accurate and timely migration of Sales-related data, requiring strong coordination between global standards and local data execution.
Assignment Purpose
Lead and execute data migration activities for Sales data within a rollout cluster, combining central coordination with hands-on local data preparation, validation, and support.
Key Responsibilities
Define and drive data migration plan, scope, and approach for Sales data objects
Assess data readiness and align with global migration and data governance frameworks
Lead and execute local data activities (extraction, cleansing, mapping, enrichment)
Provide and validate data mappings and transformation logic
Coordinate and oversee ETL execution, ensuring data quality and completeness
Perform and support data validation (pre-load, post-load, mock cycles, cut-over)
Collaborate with Sales stakeholders, Data Stewards, and IT to ensure alignment
Monitor progress, resolve data issues, and ensure proper documentation
Support go-live and hypercare, including handling data-related questions and corrections
Qualifications
Experience in SAP data migration within SAP SD / Sales
Hands-on experience with data cleansing, mapping, and validation
Understanding of Sales data (e.g. customers, pricing, orders)
Experience from global template-based rollouts
Fluent in English
